Knowledge is wealth

I am writing in this blog after a long time now..........perhaps didn't invent any new ideas lately....if invention was so simple everyone would be an inventor. Many new things I got to learn between the period I wrote my last post and this one..........new facts, new information, new ideas, new data....

I read and perceived such an amount of newness around me.......that I feel I am still a Kindergarten kid learning his basics........I guess we all are always learning new things the only difference is how many of us ponder or marvel over new things learnt.
Recently I came across Yahoo Answers, Ask Yahoo......its amazing what they have in there.....questions right from your day to day living up till complicated phenomenon are answered there....Not only that but Yahoo answers enables you to answer questions asked by other people and you earn points everytime you answer.......it truly can be viewed as a reach source of obtaining instant knowledge on various subjects which otherwise will take you years together to learn about.

Knowledge truly in itself is a magical weapon/phenomenon, when used in the right sense can make you win unsurpassable situations. Another power knowledge has is that it can trigger ideas inside you....Ideas....concepts......thoughts.......
The most important quality which you develop due to knowledge is the ability to apply it and develop analytical thought process. Analytical thinking is an important part of your intellect and can help you overcome troubled situations......It can make you understand complex ideas.......make you ponder over strange things.........trigger your brain to think outside the box.
Today it is said that mass circulation or free access of Internet has caused more harm than any good....well few instances do prove misuse of Internet, but again just like knowledge......its sources if used wisely can make a dramatic difference in your life.
This proves that the derived inherits its attributes from the origin..........no wonder the sources of knowledge differ not much from the knowledge itself. But again its all in the hands of the user. You always get back what you asked for.
Below are few useful and great links which I guess you already may be aware of but still I will be glad to share them with you:

Man Vs Machine
As a child we have always been facinated by these amazing movies like robo cop, terminator, star wars.....few movies protray machines assiting man to make this world a better place and a few become a weapon of distruction.....

But coming to the real world we are facinated by these wonder machines be it Ipod....or Ipod Nano....or PDAs.....or amazing technology psyched gadgets......secretly you always wished to own one.

But going back in time machines have always been there like some very versatile helpers/supporters/assistants/laborers....watever you name them..they have just been there or rather their existence has been for the very soul reason that they assist us not so perfect humans conquer all the limitations and achaive tasks just in seconds giving perfect results considered to be unreachable by man.

It implies that in a way machines have always been few steps ahead of man...or atleast designed so by their creator. So someone may even say....they are perfectionists or our better counterpart!!!

Technically yes, I would agree......if they would not have been there perhaps we would still be living a premitive life.....they are the main reasons or they have always been the first stepping stone for any great achievement man must have ever achieved.

But.......the question lies.....how much farther ahead should we go and make them our weaknesses....I mean just think of it......Can you stay alive without your mobile or your Ipod or Ipod nano or without internet.....or for that matter even without TV.

You would think I am crazy.......you would even go to the extent and say...if thats what you like why dont you yourself quite everything and go to some remot place.

I definately dont intend to say you should abstain from using technology....what I intend to bring to your attention is that look closely somewhere unknowingly you are coming under their very infleunce......like a magic spell.......I remember a friend of mine.....he was just newly married...one day he came home running and in great hurry.......much early then normally he would come. His wife was under the impression that perhaps he missed her so much that he came running to unite with her......but to her dismay he just came home and went directly to his study table and logged in his email......when he was done checking them....that was when he felt at peace.....He just came home early because in his office the internet was not working that day.....and it had been some few hours he was sitting without having any look at his emails.

I definately pity him.......not only him.....I would pity all of us......this is whats happening to us......like some kind of technology virus is grabbing us all.......

What about times when we would rather stay without internet but go out for a trek or hiking with family....spend some quiet time in nature......be one day without electricity but enjoy the cool night air.....while the soothing moonlight makes us feel at peace....what about times when we will stay without our Ipods or Nanos but listen to the soft music of the little creek flowing next to our house........Machines time and again have proven their efficiency over man and man has time and again proven his deficiency to live without them........

We may not be perfect......but we are intelligent enough to feel.....touch.......smell.....sense......view.......hear.............the radiance of spring, the softness of a bloomed flower, the morning freshness, the joyous wind, the scenic dance of the sun rays, the musical notes of huming creatures around us......This is what we are....

But in vain man forgets this.....he is so much engrossed in nullifying his imperfections that he forgets his strengths, his capabilities, his emotions, his feelings.......he forgets he is human.....and not a mechanical machine like the ones he has created to work 24/7.

All today man knows is to feel...touch......smell......sense......view......hear......the sound of money counting.........the smoothness of the textures of beautiful artworks created by his machines.......the dollars in the air........the polluted air created by his machines..............the defeat of his fellow beaings...............abusive things being said to his fellow beings.......

This is todays man.........completetly forgotten the very motive or the very essence of his existence.

Just think of it.......what if a machine created by you were to malfucntion and instead of doing taska you have created it for......it does something else.......you as it creator...would either try and repair it or destroy it dumping it into trash as a malfunctioned and failed invention.

Then what do you think the creator of human kind must be doing? or thinking........?

Machines are or must be powerful and efficient than we are......but they definately cannot be or surpass us as they lack one thing.......they lack a mind which gets hurt when a loved one is rude.....feels bad when a loved one is unhappy.......is sorrowful when a loved one is away ......is joyous when a loved one is close by........

We defeat machines as we have an ability to love.....love and be loved......but if we keep stressing ourselves too much with mechanical or materialistic things ......but if we keep practising negative emotions like hatred, jealousy, anger, fear.........but if we keep doing actions involving destruction, abuse, death......we will very soon loose our only and only strength over these machines.....i.e TO LOVE AND TO BE LOVED.

Thirst for writing.....

Every one in his lifetimes yearns for something....something big/enormous/extraordinary/amazing/worth noticing...perhaps many more adjectives would need to be used to describe wat a normal human being yearns for in his entire lifetime. So....wats so great about it....you would say is there anything wrong in wishing good about oneself.....why am I raising this point here...when the posting has been titled "THIRST FOR WRITING" whats the connection???????

Connection is very hazy....but is there...and a little bit weird too...perhaps you might even leave this blog halfway and forget abt it....but i dont care cause more than caring abt if someones gonna read this or not....I care wat makes me write it...

My thirst to write something...makes me write it...it is this thirst to do something different to be some place different to own something different makes you yearn for things in your lifetime....its this thirst...and thats the connection...

I have this thirst inside me...I want to write...I aspire to write about absolutely everything I know and wanna know...I aspire to have this thirst to write about everything that goes inside me...every thought every wish...every action...you can say I wanna pen myself down.....

Thats wat I yearn for...thats wat my ambition is ....it is said to be a good writer you should read a lot...yeah perhaps its true...but somehow...I am not that good at following instructions or niches or cliches watever you call them...I never follow the rules...not always...I dont know why...but I dont...

In this movie "Akeelah and the Bee"...this thirteen year old girl mentions of a very heart hitting fact...She says "No matter wat you do.....no matter how hard you try...you always get this feeling that something is not rt...something is out of place...perhaps that something is me myself...a feeling that you are out of place..you simply dont belong here no matter how adaptive you may be..."

I feel it frequently....is it okk or is that indicative of something being wrong with me i donot know...but it has one good effect...it keeps my thirst alive...and makes it more and more strong...cause it triggers a feeling of seeing myself in the rt place...as if I am that lost piece of a jigsaw puzzle in search of the rt compatibility.....perhaps in someway we all are...the only difference is we dont realize...We all together complete the puzzle...and to find the rt place we are yearning...

Yearning to get that rt spot which belongs to us.....and complete the puzzle....complete the bigger picture......

Keep that thirst alive...but for the rt stuff...so you land up to your own correct spot...I do not really know what i achieved with this article....its just like a train of thoughts I tried to put together....perhaps in a disordered manner...with the engine in the middle....hoping the real trains-man would understand setting the train in order...

Is an entrepreneur an "INVENTOR" ?

I have been asking this question to myself several times till date...But havnt yet got a satisfactory answer. Then to get one i decided to go to the basics. I looked into the etymology dictionary for the origin of this word "ENTREPRENEUR" and this is what I came across

"entrepreneur
1828, reborrowing of Fr. entrepreneur "one who undertakes or manages," from O.Fr. entreprendre "undertake." The word first crossed the Channel c.1475, but did not stay. "

So one who undertakes or manages......or in simple words one who is ready to take risks and manage business venture. How do you think he does that? And why is it that only an ENTREPRENEUR can do it...why not everybody....wat is that one thing that makes an ENTREPRENEUR different than the rest of us.....well many of you would say that it takes a lot to be able to take risks....or to be able to think out of the box....just like an inventor does when he is in search of something new and innovative.

So you mean that both an ENTREPRENEUR and an inventor undertake the same process to reach their goals....!!

Perhaps they do....but then why dont you make these two words synonyms of each other...Now you will say I am being absurd by just going a bit too far and calling the words as synonyms of each other...Alright they can atleast be similies...

Let me tell you how...What is that one thing that makes ENTREPRENEURS stand out of the crowd.....the very thing is that they have a different profile altogether...they are always upto something.....they always have new strategies to make things work for themselves ....or make MONEY work for themselves....We are always trying to make things work for us.....but have you ever thought of how MONEY can work for you instead of you working for it from 9 to 5.
Thats why an ENTREPRENEUR is like an inventor.....full of new ideas....Ideas is what makes them always think and act....its these ideas that make them take "CALCULATED" risks....these are not just risks but these are "CALCULATED" risks...

So an ENTREPRENEUR is truly an inventor...he invents ideas....Ideas that generate revenues...Inventor invents things and ideas to unable revenues tooo....

Then whats the main difference between the two....Very simple.....An ENTREPRENEUR is an inventor...But an Inventor is not neccessarily and ENTREPRENEUR....not all inventors can be...
